If people ask me about my horses “do you do dressage or showjumping”, I reply that this is my life with horses:
I see them as a partner. A partner for life. They sense more than you can say, they feel if you’re happy, sad or angry. The latter one you better drop fast as that can become dangerous. But if you’re happy, they show you so many things to get your attention and to let them play with you.
And as an extra, yes, they’re willing to help you out when you feel tired in the middle of the forest and carry you home.
It’s all based on trust and energy, love and joy, bodylanguage and balance. And a lot more.
Forget what you see at stables, this is the free horse wanting to be with his human and getting what he needs.
